At the end of October, the Meyers family traveled to High Point Furniture Market in High Point, North Carolina, for the largest furniture market in the world. The market is a week-long event, where we are able to meet with furniture manufacturers to see the new styles, colors, textures, and options in home furnishings. These meetings also give us the great chance to make sure we’re bringing you the latest in comfort, design, and style for your home!
We’ll be sharing more details on the trends on our blog, but in the meantime, we wanted to offer a peek into a couple of our favorite discoveries:
- A Change to Neutrals. Over the last several years, we’ve seen neutrals in the earth tones category in shades of brown, greens, and reds. These neutrals are being infused with new cool greens and blues to create a very fresh neutral palette.
- Details in Design. The details added to seating, dining, and occasional tables range from metal accents to multi-tone wood grains to pleating.
- Comfort is Key. Motion seating continues to evolve with more support, convenience, and technology integration.
The High Point Furniture Market is just one of several annual markets the Meyers family attends each year to stay on top of the current trends!
More of these styles, trends, and ideas will be coming into Meyers Furniture in Rochelle and Mendota soon. Stop in to either of our locations in Rochelle or Mendota to learn more about these new, great trends!
