Tradition Meets Timeless Craftsmanship: Meyers Visits the Amish Furniture Show

.

Three generations of the Meyers family recently made the trip to Mt. Hope, Ohio, to attend the annual Amish Furniture Show — and let’s just say, the legacy of handcrafted furniture is alive and thriving.

From the moment we stepped into the show, it was clear: this wasn’t just a display of furniture. It was a celebration of tradition, craftsmanship, and quality that spans generations — values that we at Meyers Furniture hold close to our hearts.

We explored new trends in Amish design, discovered fresh finishes and fabrics, and talked one-on-one with the talented makers behind the pieces. From sleek modern updates to classic mission styles, what stood out most was the same thing that’s always made Amish furniture special: attention to detail, made-by-hand durability, and timeless style built to last for years (and then some).

As a third-generation family-owned business, it was meaningful for us to walk the show together — learning, discovering, and continuing our commitment to bringing heirloom-quality furniture home to our customers.

🪵 What’s Next?

We’re excited to share that several new pieces we fell in love with at the show will be arriving soon to our showroom. Think elevated comfort, custom options, and woodcraft so good it speaks for itself.

Stop by soon to see what’s new — and if you’ve got something specific in mind, we can help you create a custom piece made just for your space.
